Rowan University Men’s Soccer is coming off an excellent season! last year we went 17-3-1 and made the NCAA tournament as the 3rd seed in the country. With ten of eleven starters coming back and one of the best recruiting classes in the country, we are primed to make a run at the programs third national championship.

With that being said, we are excited to be hosting the third Gilmore Alumni Classic regular season tournament. This tournament honors Coach Gilmore as well as all of the Alumni over the past 40+ years. We have great pride and tradition in our program and it is our goal to honor all of the great people that have helped build it with this tournament.

The tournament does cost the program money to host. We cover of the opponent’s hospitality, officials, awards, teeshirts, etc. The coaching staff and players appreciate your financial contribution so we can continue this great tournament and continue honoring all of the special people that have made the tradition of the program one of the elite in the country.

It is our intention to keep the name the name to carry on the amazing players (and Coach Gilmore) that have come through the program. As usual, we will be announcing the names of all of the people that donate to the tournament and keep our “Prof Pride” tradition as strong as ever.

Lastly, The team will be traveling to Spain this summer. We will be playing Barcelona and Valencia. We have done a lot to raise funds for this exciting trip and are still looking for sponsors and support to make this a great experience for the players. We are very thankful for all of the people that already have and will help us make this trip possible for all of the players and coaching staff.
